Stella Bridie is an Australian singer-songwriter based in Melbourne, known for her emotive indie-pop sound and deeply introspective songwriting. Drawing influences from artists like Julia Jacklin and Ethel Cain, Stella creates music that blends raw, confessional lyrics with rich, atmospheric instrumentation. Her debut EP, Speaking Terms (2021), received widespread praise for its vulnerability and musical depth. Tracks like “He Didn’t Mean It” showcase her ability to tackle difficult subjects like personal reflection and societal issues with tenderness and authenticity.
In 2018, Stella won the Darebin Music Feast Songwriters' Award, which helped solidify her place in the Australian music scene. She has since performed at renowned festivals, including SXSW in Austin, Texas.
