The Steepwater Band

Additional information

Chicago rock 'n' roll with the blues in its veins

The Steepwater Band · The Old Brewery Store, Faversham · Friday 15th January 2027

Formed in Chicago in 1998, The Steepwater Band bring more than 25 years of road miles, soulful songwriting and twin-guitar fire to Faversham on their January 2027 European tour. A rare UK date from one of Chicago's hardest-working rock and blues bands.

Why fans rate them so highly

• Opened for Bon Jovi at a sold-out United Center, and toured with Gov't Mule

• Shared stages with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, Cheap Trick, The Doobie Brothers and Ian Gillan

• Eight studio albums, including Grace and Melody, produced by former Black Crowes guitarist Marc Ford

• Regulars at the Chicago Blues Festival, and played Spain's Azkena Rock Festival

• Music featured in Friday Night Lights, Deadliest Catch, Disney's Invincible and One for the Money

Jeff Massey and Eric Saylors trade guitar licks and vocals over the rhythm section of Joe Winters (drums) and Joe Bishop (bass). Expect gritty rock 'n' roll, deep blues and soulful roots, played loud and played right in a room built for it.
