Long-time collaborators Stack Duncan and Anya Deja come together to blend their musical worlds in two collaborative sets, bringing their original songs and distinctive styles together in a shared musical experience. Expect an intimate, immersive performance where mellow guitar riffs, haunting vocals, soulful melodies and spontaneous improvisation intertwine.
Veduna weaves together whimsical and ethereal folk music. Blending traditional and contemporary folk, their songs explore love, nature and shared experiences; forming a portfolio and a musical documentation of their journey as a couple. Taking inspiration from the likes of Big Thief, John Martyn and Roy Harper, Veduna creates their own unique sound with Siren-like vocal harmonies, intricate guitar playing and yearning harmonica shreds.
Stack Duncan creates a distinctive post-folk sound inspired by the likes of Nick Drake. Through intimate, personal storytelling and mellow guitar riffs, his music creates a captivating atmosphere, bold in its fragility.
Anya Deja has a distinctive folky-soul sound that weaves vivid stories with haunting vocals, instinctive improvisation and playful energy. Accompanied by Alfie Elliot-Anderson on guitar, Glenn Hicks on bass, Luna Abou-Saad on violin and Leo Hill on djembe, together they create a dreamy and exciting sonic landscape. Her music is inspired by the likes of Massive Attack, Sade, Bjӧrk and Kate Bush.
Whether you're discovering these artists for the first time or returning to hear them again, join us at The Grove for an evening of original music, rich textures and genuine musical connection.
An intimate evening of live music not to be missed.
