Spring King is a four-piece post punk band from Manchester. Their fiery garage sound draws on art rock and has earned them great critical acclaim.
Originally a solo project, the band was started by songwriter and producer Tarek Musa whose role in the band is to sing and play drums. Enlisting school friends James Green, Andy Morton and Peter Darlington Spring King became a full band.
Their first single was titled Mumma/Mumma Pt. II and was released through the label Trangressive in 2014. It was then followed by the EP Demons.
The follow up EP They’re Coming After You came out through the label Handsome Dad. It features the song City which was debuted on Beats 1 by Zane Lowe.
Their debut album is titled Tell Me If You Like To and will be released in June this year.

Get yourself to Truck Festival where they will be making an appearance. The festival lasts from Friday 15th till Sunday 17th of July at takes place at Hill Farm in Steventon.
They will also be part of the fine array of acts that will be playing at Leeds & Reading Festival this year, due to take place from Friday 26th till Sunday 28th of August.
