About Spoort
Spoort’s brazenly eclectic sound combines live indie rock, soul, trap production, or whatever they’re feeling on the day. They wear their influences very much on their sleeves, citing artists as wide-ranging as Steely Dan, Marvin Gaye, Young Thug and The Strokes. While the name comes from the Dutch word for ‘tracks’, it’s just pronounced ‘sport’, as is the stubborn wont of the Englishman.
