Great night
Twinnie was worth the ticket price on her own. My fave and also enjoyed the other bands especially Two ways home. Looking forward to next year! Also liked wristband idea.

The South Wales Country Music Festival was great
Thanks to a re-ordered running schedule Emilia Quinn's full band performance rounded off the 8-hour day with mighty vocals over a guitar/drums backing band. This was the blend of ballads and guitar-led country-rock material needed for the final set, and carried the vibe through from the Wood Burnt Red set beforehand. Well done to the organisers for setting it up that way. I know Twinne was probably designated 'headline artist' but a full-band should always round things off and leave the audience on a high. Twinnie herself delivered a semi-acoustic, stripped-back version of some of her more pop-orientated material which suited a more serious country-fan audience, once she had enough of them actually listening to the music. Kyle Elliott was a great surprise. I don't think he plays many shows, so this was a special treat. Willow Hill are fab - seen them before. Two Ways Home - great harmonies and stories. Of the local artists I saw, Joe Kelly was my favourite - his guitar/harmonical style was good. Line-dancing probably isn't to everyone's taste. I wasn't expecting so much of it, but it seems to be a bit of a thing in Wales.
Overall, it was a great day for country fans and its always important to support small venue live music at a very affordable ticket price.
