Echo & the Bunnymen + The Jesus & Mary Chain + Peter Hook & The Light (Skyline Series), Lloyds Amphitheatre, Bristol Harbourside - 22nd June 2018

Peter Hook came on, little slow to start but warmed up really well and finished with the classic love will test us apart. Could of done another 20 minutes especially what happened later. Will definitely see him again . Then came Jesus and Mary Chain never been a chatty bunch but we're tight with a great sound both old and new. Best I've them for a while. Then Mr Echo, a bit late and a bit drunk. Slurred through Rescue and Villiers Terrace had discussions with the key board player and more drink. Having seen them in the day when his vocals were unbelievable and the interaction with the crowd funny and clever. Little or none of that now and wasn't sure if he sang the correct lyrics, but he and the band got it going and you remember how many classic songs they've done, but only one encore and finished well before 11. A good thing Hooky and the chain were on it

Echo & the Bunnymen + The Jesus & Mary Chain + Peter Hook & The Light (Skyline Series), Lloyds Amphitheatre, Bristol Harbourside - 22nd June 2018

A great night with 3 top performances.
The only downer was the bars and merch were still setting up when we took our place at the front so couldn't then get a drink without losing our place,

We had an amazing time, seeing Jesus & Mary chain again was a dream come true for Angie & Echo & the Bunnymen for me was absolutely awesome, the venue was perfect, it was spacious & very well laid out, the atmosphere was electric, it was absolutely worth every penny.
