Simeon Walker is a Leeds-based pianist and composer who has swiftly become a luminous presence in the modern classical scene. His early albums, Mono (2017) and Winnow (2020) the latter supported by Help Musicians and the PRS Foundation showcase his serene, spacious piano instrumentals that invite calm in a frantic world. His contemplative piece “Reverie” featured on the first Piano Day compilation alongside giants like Nils Frahm and Chilly Gonzales.
Walker has supported renowned artists such as S. Carey, Erland Cooper, LYR and Submotion Orchestra, and has graced stages at Latitude, Timber Festival, Edinburgh Fringe and SXSW London. With frequent airplay on BBC Radio 3, Classic FM and more, his music has amassed over 50 million streams.Committed to community, he founded the Brudenell Piano Sessions at Leeds’s beloved Brudenell Social Club—an intimate, pay-what-you-feel series showcasing new piano music in an inviting setting.
