She Drew The Gun are a psych-pop band from the Wirral, fronted by singer-songwriter Louisa Roach and celebrated for their dreamy soundscapes, sharp social commentary and poetic, politically charged lyricism. Since emerging in the mid-2010s, the band have crafted a distinctive style that fuses hazy melodies with incisive observations about power, inequality and the human condition. Their debut album Memories of the Future (2016) introduced Roach’s hypnotic vocal delivery and the band’s atmospheric production, followed by Revolution of Mind (2018), a bold and urgent record that cemented their position as one of the most compelling voices in modern alternative music.
Their most recent album Behave Myself (2021) saw the band refine their sound with sleek electronics, psych-pop textures and a fearless sense of purpose. Known for potent singles including “Nothing Lasts” and the confrontational “Class War (How Much)”, She Drew The Gun have developed a reputation for music that is as thought-provoking as it is beautifully melodic. On stage, they are captivating and cinematic, with performances at Glastonbury and tours supporting The Coral and James showcasing their ability to move effortlessly between intimacy and intensity.
