Ruts DC emerged shortly after the first wave punk explosion. Drawing on elements of reggae, the band remain a thrilling watch at each of the intense live shows.

Following the release of their new album Music Must Destroy they have announced exciting upcoming live shows. Do not miss them play at Plug in Sheffield and Zephyr Lounge and Leamington Spa during September and The Globe at Cardiff in October, 2017.

They also feature at the festivals Camden Rocks 2017 in London during June and WCH presents Midlands Calling during November.

The band’s arrival was announced with the release of debut album The Crack. The record blasts off with their signature song Babylon’s Burning and shot up to No. 16 in the charts.

Subsequent album titles include Grin & Bear it, Animal Now and Rhythm Collision.

They made their return in 2016 with the release of their latest record Music Must Destroy which utterly thrilled the critics.

The long-awaited Music Must Destroy is Ruts DC’s first fully-fledged rock LP since Animal Now and it doesn’t disappoint.” - Record Collector

Music Must Destroy finds original members Segs Jennings and David Ruffy in reassuringly rude health, bludgeoning their way through a bunch of songs that weld punk and metal.” - Uncut
