Newcastle-based singer-songwriter Ruth Lyon crafts a distinctive blend of chamber pop and offbeat anti-folk, weaving soulful vocals with witty, raw lyricism. Inspired by the likes of Fiona Apple, Aldous Harding and Regina Spektor, her music challenges societal norms and embraces the beauty in imperfection.
