Rikki Lee had two really good musicians as a backing band. This made it a four star concert. It started with a good acoustic guitar set with three of her more familiar songs included. A particularly good 'Last Chance Texaco featuring. A two or was it three song electric guitar set followed with songs I did not know. Really good though and a second highlight. Rikki then was at the piano for a final set of songs. I thought it the weaker of the three phases of the concert. Despite an enthusiastic audience there was no encore. Lasting an hour and a half at most, there was a feeling of anti-climax, compounded as she finished with the piano numbers. Researching previous reviews of her concerts ninety minutes seems to be the norm. A better set list order and a couple of encores would have got four and a half stars!!, Great to see an artist with genuine talent in such a small and attractive venue

Rickie Lee Jones, The Assembly, Leamington Spa - 27th February 2018
A beautiful venue for a beautiful artist. Although her set was for not much more than an hour she sang her heart out and performed some of her greatest songs.
