Redfaces, Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham - 5th October 2017

Great set from a great bunch of lads, get out and see them before they hit the big time

Posted by Ed on 06/10/2017

Redfaces are the bright young things from Sheffield. The indie band have worked prolifically hard to create an impressive back catalogue characterised by their melodic songs with tight vocal harmonies which includes the track Katie Come Home recorded with legendary producer Alan Smyth (Pulp, Arctic Monkeys, The Long Blondes). Thriving off the energy their audiences exude, buzzing from the sixties inspired music. The band are made up of drummer Charlie Yapp, guitarists Andy Wynn and Harry Lyon who sings lead vocals with Isaac White on bass.

The band have sold out shows at iconic venues around their hometown including The Leadmill and O2 Academy whilst also featuring predominantly at the festivals Tramlines and Y Not.
We aim to be the biggest band in the world, but we are just enjoying making music at the moment. Our songs are based on personal experiences and things we observe but people don’t need to have experienced the things we write about, as long as they take something away from them that’s all that matters. At the end of the day we write for fun, if people like it that’s just a bonus.

Redfaces tickets are available to you right now. Get yours from Gigantic before they are gone.

Touring in Autumn of 2017, the band will play at The Sugarmill in Stoke-On-Trent and The Bodega at Nottingham in September, then Sunflower Lounge at Birmingham, The Scholar at O2 Academy Leicester and The Cellar Bar at Oxford during October.

Redfaces concert tickets are in high demand as everyone wants to see this up and coming band, so with limited supply we advise that you book early to avoid disappointment.
