Tough, Texas-style blues rock from one of Australia's finest guitarists
Ray Beadle & Band · The Old Brewery Store, Faversham · Saturday 30th October 2027
After a packed night at The Oast in Rainham in August 2026, Ray Beadle comes back to Kent with his full electric band for a Saturday night of loud, muscular, committed blues rock at The Old Brewery Store.
"An exhilarating guitarist, an enthralling singer-songwriter, and an extremely talented performer. Ray Beadle is the genuine article."
Why blues fans rate him so highly
A three-month residency with the house band at BB King's Blues Club, Memphis
Played Buddy Guy's Blues Club, Chicago on one of three tours of the USA
Years with the Foreday Riders, the band Australian musicians call "the University of the Blues"
Top-eight finish at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis
Chain Blues Awards for Best Album, Best Song and Best Male Artist
15 albums, the latest being Bound To Get The Blues, recorded live to tape in Sydney
Albert King is the influence Ray names most, and you'll hear Texas, Chicago and jump blues in every set. In his own words: "We set out to do straight blues rock, tough Texas style." Expect long, mostly improvised solos, songs from Bound To Get The Blues and favourites from across his catalogue.
