Quantic is the long-running musical project of producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist Will Holland, celebrated for its warm, groove-led blend of global sounds. Emerging in the early 2000s, he first gained attention with The 5th Exotic (2001), followed by beloved releases including Apricot Morning (2004) and The World’s Rarest Music (2006). Rooted in funk, soul and jazz, Quantic’s sound has continually evolved to incorporate Latin, reggae and electronic influences, always driven by a deep respect for musical tradition and analogue warmth.
A prolific collaborator and performer, Holland has toured extensively across the UK and internationally, appearing at major festivals and venues with various live incarnations, including the Quantic Soul Orchestra. His relocation to Colombia in the mid-2000s marked a pivotal chapter, leading to albums such as Magnetica (2014) and Tradition in Transition (2019), recorded with local musicians and vocalists. Constantly curious and effortlessly danceable, Quantic’s music bridges cultures and generations, earning him a lasting place as one of the UK’s most respected and forward-thinking producers.
