PWR BTTM, The Harley, Sheffield - 12th April 2017

Really exceptional performance by one of the best bands I've seen - and I've seen a lot! Absolutely gorgeous set with banter and respectful dancing thrown in. Venue was lovely - good vegan cuisine and ales - good value and well kept hotel too. Made for an overall great night. I will be finding glitter on my body for months.

The show was amazing, Orchards and PWR BTTM rocked out and the crowd was really enthusiastic and energetic towards the band. It was such a melting pot of people and the atmosphere was beautiful. 10/10 would go again

PWR BTTM, The Harley, Sheffield - 12th April 2017

I've missed going to these kind of small gigs where the crowd are friendly and can all fit in a fairly small room (though it was pretty packed for PWR BTTM). You don't get the same experience in arenas and stadiums and there's just too much stress most of the time.
Orchards were a good choice of warm-up act and got the crowd ready for the main event. Both bands interacted with the audience, with PWR BTTM telling us little stories between songs. People were enjoying the songs and dancing along, rather than gazing into their phones which makes a nice change.
There was merchandise available afterwards, including a chance to pre-order their second album.
Definitely would go to something similar again.

Absolutely love this band, so entertaining! Everyone there was super friendly and the Orchards, who opened for them, were great also.

PWR BTTM joins the talents of Liv Bruce and Ben Hopkins. The queer punk pairing are known for their empowering tracks and feel good gigs.

With the upcoming release of their second album Pageant, they have announced exciting upcoming gigs to show off their new material. See them hit the UK when they play KOKO in London on Friday 1st of September, 2017.

PWR BTTM tickets are in high demand so you know they will sell very quickly. Released at 09:00 on Friday 21st of April, we recommend you set a personal reminder right now so you can be alert via a text message or an email when they become available.

The pair burst onto the scene with the release of their debut album Ugly Cherries. The record reflected “...the duo's experiences with queerness, gender, and adulthood over the course of a year of living in upstate New York." It chimed with an underground audience and was brought to a wider listenership by the eager music press.

The record is not only catchy as all hell, but it’s also sweet and openhearted and not one bit cynical.” - Pitchfork

Lighthearted and wild in places, intimate and revealing in others, Ugly Cherries is whatever you want it to be. ” - The Line Of Best Fit

It's fun, it's queer and your straight friends will like it too because, ultimately, it's about being less alone. Everyone can relate to that. And the world genuinely feels like a brighter place with PWR BTTM in it.” - The 405

Perhaps the true novelty of an album like Ugly Cherries isn't its glam presentation or its commitment to celebrating all things under a rainbow of pride. It's the heart-bursting sincerity that comes through in Bruce and Hopkins' eagerness to slather lipstick all over their chins and serenade their fellow weirdos in basements. ” - Rolling Stone

Fans are eagerly looking forward to the release of follow up album Pageant to be released in May.
