Poets of the Fall are a Finnish indie rock band whose sound blends art rock, symphonic flourishes and moments of grunge-inflected intensity. Formed in Helsinki, the sextet are led by vocalist Marko Saaresto alongside Olli Tukiainen (lead guitar), Markus “Captain” Kaarlonen (keys), Jani Snellman (bass), Jaska Mäkinen (rhythm guitar) and Jari Salminen (drums).
