PLK (born Mathieu Claude Daniel Pruski on 15 April 1997) is a French rapper hailing from the 14th arrondissement of Paris, of Polish father and Corsican mother. He adopted his stage name as a nod to his Polish roots (“Polak”) and began writing lyrics aged nine and composing by thirteen.
His entry into music came through the collective Panama Bende before he launched a solo career. His debut album Polak (2019) achieved platinum status, followed by the acclaimed Enna (2020) which reached diamond certification in France. Known for a flow that bridges rap and melodic moments, his standout singles include “Un peu de haine” and “Décembre”. International live highlights include major arena shows in France where he commands thousands of fans.
