Penn Festival, The Big Park, Buckinghamshire - 19th July 2019
Not as good bands on this year or as many 90's big names as in previous years and disappointing less stalls to browse and buy from. Still, we love Penn Festival but look forward to a much better line up next year.

Had a great time - it's a compact festival, but that does generate one frustration as the two larger stages are so close they can't overlap, meaning if you're clinging to the front of main for the headline you're going to endure quite long periods of nothing
Was disappointed that the website and social media didn't give *very* much information, and an email about parking went unanswered, but things on the day were really well organised - quick to get into the site, quick to get away again at the other end of the day
Dave Benson Phillips MCing the whole thing was surreally beautiful

LOVE Pennfest but a couple of things this year....
1.Why has the entrance been moved so far away from the tent entrance, so annoying to go back to your tent this year.
2. The phone reception was laughable on the Saturday, literally didn’t work so impossible to contact anyone.
3. Pete Docherty was a total mess! Didn’t hear one person say he was any good!

First experience of Penn Fest and we really enjoyed it!
I've heard some complaints about the behaviour of some young adults there but I only saw a handful of inebriated older adults who were swiftly and effectively removed from the event.
Kids loved it, I felt they were safe there and we all had opportunities to have fun.
My only concern would be in the campsite at night - one tent was particularly noisey but did turn music off when I asked and apologised for being loud. The next night was a little noisey but within the limits of what you would expect for a camp site full of happy people! The security guards were fantastic with the children but I think they could have shown more of a presence around the campsite during the night to help with noise control. I think it would be really beneficial to have a quiet / family only camping zone as it is advertised as a family friendly event.
All in all we really had a really good time and will be back next year!

Always enjoy PennFest.
Suede, Miles Kane and Noasis were great.
Peter Doherty was garbage. Complete waste of a slot.
