Discover the craft behind one of Cornwall’s most iconic shellfish. In this lively session, a traditional Falmouth oysterman demonstrates how to shuck oysters safely and properly, sharing stories from the water along the way. Learn about Cornwall’s oyster heritage, different varieties, and how to serve them at their best. The session includes three fresh oysters and a glass off fizz per every participant.

Our masterclasses take place in a space at the top of a long flight of stairs with no lift access, so unfortunately, may not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with impaired mobility.
