Norwegian blues guitarist and songwriter Otto Junior is bringing his band to Faversham, and this one's a proper treat.

 

Otto is a Gibson artist who opened for Slash, Billy Gibbons and Don Felder at NAMM 2020 in Anaheim. He's shared stages with Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Little Steven, Josh Smith, Kirk Fletcher, Matt Schofield and Mike Zito, and in September 2026 he supported Joe Bonamassa and Jimmy Vivino. In 2025 the Norwegian Blues Union named him "Most Up & Coming Artist", and that autumn the band played 19 gigs across Japan and South Korea. They've also toured Norway, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Croatia, and made their US debut at Springing The Blues Festival in Jacksonville, Florida in April 2026.

 

He's joined by Theis Jakob on bass, Ola Grindbakken on drums and Leo Haugen Wyller on organ. They're all in their early twenties, but they play the blues like men twice their age. Expect blues, soul, blues-rock and funk, with strong original songs alongside their takes on Gary Moore and Jimi Hendrix classics.
