Formed in 2013, QUJAKU are a Japanese experimental band based in Hamamatsu. Their dark, heavy psychedelia is replete with rich distortion and feedback, creating a unique decadent ambience.
The apocalyptic sound they muster fuels an urge to release from the everyday to discover an ephemeral beauty behind the fierceness. The delicate yet strong leading voice, filled with destructive guitar, repetitive rhythmic percussion, and deep, bellowing bass combine to create Qujaku's unique sound atmosphere to preoccupy the mind and enhance the experience.

Black Arches formed in Hastings in 2018.
The story began in the dingy cellar of a wine bar where a gang of local aesthetes and Bohemians started a night of experimental art, spoken word and music by the name of Weird Shit.
Black Arches began as a freeform live outlet for author and musician Gareth E Rees’s spoken word extrapolations, later incorporating Matt frost from his garage rock troupe The Dirty contacts, and frequent collaborator James Weaver to form a vehicle for wild experimentation and psychic abandon.
In their intense semi-improvised performances, they blend heavy psych with electronics and layers of wild atmospheric noise.
They've supported the likes of The Telescopes and Gnod, and in 2022 began collaborating with Medway seeing poet artist and musician Sexton Ming. Their debut album ‘Folly’ was released by Rocket Recordings in in March 2025."
