Ghost Patterns second album, ‘Mirror Image’, is set for release on November 20, 2026, on vinyl/ cd/ download.
Ghost Patterns from London fuse elements of modern psychedelic rock’n’roll with shoegazey guitar textures. Since forming in 2019, they have shared stages with prominent bands in the genre, such as Helicon, Cult Of Dom Keller, Daiistar, Magic Shoppe, New Candys , Ceremony East Coast, Tremours, The Dharma Chain and most recently with Pink Breath Of Heaven.
Inspired by 60's psychedelia, the late 70’s/ 80’s independent scene and the early UK shoegazing era, their songwriting captures a range of energies; at times delivering a certain directness and intensity and at other times invoke wider, more expansive lush cinematic type arrangements.Their live performances often go beyond the confines and discipline of the recording environment, leading to freer improvisations reminiscent of the modern psych scene. Expect washed-out guitars and effects including a cacophony of delays, reverbs, fuzz and feedback, complimented by an array of analogue type synth sounds.
Their current live line-up is; songwriter Terry Hale (vocals/guitar), Christian Ruffy (guitar/vocals), Barry Ang (keyboards), Daniel Armstrong (bass) and James Walker (drums).
Berlin-based Pretty Average channels raw distortion and unapologetic storytelling into a sharp-edged, live-driven sound. Frontwoman Candy delivers songs from a female perspective on identity, social rejection, and generational uncertainty — her rough, unfiltered voice cutting through waves of gritty guitars.
Produced by Francisco Parisi (Minimal Schlager), their debut All I Wanted earned them the Musicboard Berlin Scholarship. Their upcoming album The Highs and Lows of Being Pretty Average captures the spirit of a band built for the stage — direct, urgent, and fiercely alive.
