Orchestra Mambo International is a powerhouse 13 piece Latin big band formed in 2022 by salsa DJ Lubi Jovanovic (DJ Lubi) and trombonist/composer Jonny Enright (Grupo X). Featuring musicians from Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Brazil, and the UK, they celebrate the golden era of mambo, salsa dura, and Afro Cuban jazz with a bold, contemporary edge.

Their exhilarating live shows have hit Glastonbury, Leeds Jazz Festival, and Musicport, alongside sold out dates at The Forge, Brudenell Social Club, and Band on the Wall, plus a BBC 6 Music Maida Vale Session for Cerys Matthews. Band members have shared stages with Joe Bataan, Jimmy Sabater, Tito Allen, Adalberto Santiago, Elbow, Gregory Isaacs, Corinne Bailey Rae, The New Mastersounds, Julian Lennon, and Fairground Attraction.

Their debut album Apúntalo, out September 2026 on Loft Recordings, features all original mambo and Latin jazz, with vocalist Carlos Peña (ex Oscar D’León Orchestra) and guest Claritzel Miyares, acclaimed Cuban singer and touring artist with Puerto Rican superstar Olga Tañón.

A thrilling mix of rising talent and seasoned Latin players, Orchestra Mambo International bring the fire and sophistication of classic mambo to new UK audiences.
