Orange Goblin are London’s stalwart stoner-metal outfit, formed in 1995 as Our Haunted Kingdom. Their early heavy riffs and psychedelic doom saw them release Frequencies from Planet Ten (1997), Time Travelling Blues (1998), and The Big Black (2000), anchoring them within stoner and space-rock inspired metal. As their sound matured, albums like Healing Through Fire (2007) injected punk-rock edge and thematic ambition, while A Eulogy for the Damned (2012) and Back from the Abyss (2014) reinforced their position as leaders of UK heavy music.
To mark three decades of relentless riffing, Orange Goblin released their tenth album, Science, Not Fiction (2024), introducing bassist Harry Armstrong and exploring themes of science, spirituality and renewed focus in life, earning praise as a modern British metal treasure. In 2025 they announced their final tour of the UK and Ireland, completing a 30-year chapter with grand hometown shows in London, bringing a celebratory close to an era of heavy metal devotion
