Obie Trice is a Detroit-born rapper known for his razor-sharp lyricism and raw, unapologetic style. Bursting onto the scene in the early 2000s, he gained widespread recognition with his debut album Cheers (2003), featuring the hit single “Got Some Teeth”. Signed to Eminem’s Shady Records early in his career, Obie quickly made a name for himself with hard-hitting tracks and guest spots on albums by the likes of D12 and 50 Cent. His follow-up record Second Round’s on Me (2006) cemented his place in hip hop, with standout tracks like “Snitch” showcasing his evolution as an artist.
Obie has built a solid fanbase in the UK, performing at venues such as the O2 Academy in Birmingham and Manchester, and previously appearing at the Wireless Festival. He has also supported fellow Detroit heavyweights on European tours, delivering powerful live sets that blend storytelling with street-smart swagger. With a loyal following and a catalogue that includes Bottoms Up (2012) and The Hangover (2015), Obie Trice remains a respected voice in hip hop – always real, always raw.
