What is it really like to have your writing adapted for television. Stephen Booth has recently had four of his Cooper and Fry detective novels set in the Derbyshire countryside shown on Channel Five and there will be more.

Stephen Booth is an English crime writer best known for his Derbyshire-set Cooper and Fry novels, featuring detectives Ben Cooper and Diane Fry solving complex murders in the Peak District. A former journalist, he debuted with Black Dog in 2000 and has since published 18 series entries, the novella Claws, and stand-alone works like Top Hard and Drowned Lives. His award winning, atmospheric mysteries are translated into numerous languages.
