About Night Verses

Night Verses is an American progressive rock band formed in 2010 in Los Angeles, California. Known for their intricate and dynamic sound, the band blends elements of post-rock, metal, and experimental music. The core members of Night Verses include Reilly McShane (vocals), Nick DePirro (guitar), and Douglas Robinson (drums), with various line-up changes throughout their career. They initially gained attention with their unique fusion of hard-hitting guitar riffs and atmospheric, cinematic soundscapes.

Their debut album, Out of the Sky (2014), showcased the band's signature blend of intricate compositions, heavy rhythms, and emotionally charged lyrics. In 2016, they released From the Gallery of Sleep, which continued to push their musical boundaries with more complex arrangements and a darker, more experimental approach. After several years of touring and experimenting with different sounds, Night Verses announced a shift towards a more electronic and atmospheric direction, with Nocturne (2020) marking a distinct departure from their earlier work. Night Verses has built a loyal fanbase through their relentless touring, often supporting acts like Periphery and The Contortionist.
