Nick Helm is a versatile comedian, actor, and musician known for his high-energy performances and bold comedic style. Born in London on 1 October 1980, Helm began his stand-up career in 2007, quickly making a name for himself with his blend of sharp one-liners, personal stories, and offbeat humour. His 2010 Edinburgh Fringe show Keep Hold of the Gold earned critical acclaim and a nomination for the Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award, marking the start of his rise to fame.
In addition to his stand-up success, Helm starred in the BBC Three sitcom Uncle (2014–2017), where he portrayed the loveable yet chaotic character Andy.
