Doors at 19:00 | Ends: 23:00
Few bands have shaped heavy music as profoundly as Neurosis. Formed in Oakland, California, in 1985, they started out as a raw hardcore punk band before evolving into something far bigger: pioneers of post-metal and atmospheric sludge, weaving doom, industrial and ambient textures into music of enormous weight and emotional depth. Across four decades they have become one of the most influential and uncompromising names in underground heavy music, and in 1999 launched their own label, Neurot Recordings, as a home for like-minded experimental artists.
In 2026 Neurosis released An Undying Love For A Burning World, their 12th studio album and first since Fires Within Fires (2016), to widespread critical acclaim. It marks the arrival of Aaron Turner — of Sumac and Isis, and a long-time kindred spirit — on vocals and guitar, alongside Steve Von Till, Jason Roeder, Dave Edwardson and Noah Landis. Vast, immersive and cathartic, the record closes with the 16-minute “Last Light”. On stage, Neurosis remain an overwhelming live force, building walls of sound that give way to moments of startling beauty.
