NEIGHBOURHOOD WEEKENDER, Victoria Park, Warrington - 25th May 2019
It was a great venue. The people were all really friendly and the locals were amazing and the music was brilliant.

Fab line up and came specially for George Ezra, but Tom Grennan was great. Organisation was superb and a great atmosphere - everyone seems to be having a great time

The event was well organised, all the staff were so polite and friendly. Police presence was good to scan for drugs etc.
I didn't like the policy where you cannot exit and re-enter the site. We are a family who were camping nearby and would like to be able to return to our motorhome as and when required. There was no mention of this on the website as I checked, only in the small print on the tickets which I missed. We are given a wrist band to prove our ticket and feel it is ridiculous to prevent people leaving to return later. Also, the cost of the tickets are expensive for a family of four and having to pay extortionate prices for food is unreasonable. We should be allowed to bring soft drinks and a picnic. Finally, we have been to many festivals and either bought a reusable cup or you could return plastic cups for a 50pence return. These sites were much cleaner as a result of this.

All the bands we saw were excellent. George Ezra was amazing. The fireworks rounded the night off. Food prices were ridiculous. Very expensive. Absolutely nobody apprehended the young man with flare in his mouth!!

This was one of the best line ups I’d seen at a festival. The organisation was spot on and the staff were polite and friendly right up to the end when we left and they all said goodnight and wished us well. The two stars are lost for the overall experience with other festival go-ers, whose behaviour was upsetting on a few occasions. I was with my 9yo daughter who has been to gigs and festivals since she was 6. She knows her music, loves to watch the bands and she can hold her own, but on two occasions was pushed aside by a grown man so they could get to the front. So many people there were wasted with quite a bit of aggro experienced. It’s a shame because the music itself - which is why I’ve always gone to festivals since I was a lass - was amazing. Unfortunately too many were there for a p***up and it seriously affected our day. Not sure there’s much that can be done about that. Perhaps I’m just getting too old ;)
