Alexander Akiloe Philip Modiano AKA Natty moved to North London as a young child. There, he was exposed to a wide range of music genres - largely owing to his parents. With an English father of Italian descent and a South African mother, he was exposed to everything from motown to folk. His future in music was certain.

His debut album titled Man Like I was released in 2008 and immediately drew widespread critical acclaim, with the music press thrilled by songs such as July and Cold Town.

Combining the influences of reggae, indie rock, Afro-beat and soul with a healthy dose of London-style, add a little attitude on the diverse, acoustic guitar-driven grooves and you have a quality debut album 'Man Like I'.” - Blues & Soul
