If you'd like to be the first to know when new events are announced, you can follow Mumbles below.
Mumbles are a Manchester-based indie rock and punk outfit whose sound combines elements of noise rock, emo, math rock and baroque-tinged punk into a wildly energetic and unpredictable mix. Known for propulsive rhythms, visceral intensity and sharp, thoughtful songwriting, the band create music that feels both chaotic and deeply expressive — challenging genre boundaries while retaining hooks and emotional impact. Their line-up includes frontperson Jacob Nicholas (they/them), Tristan O’Leary (he/him), Max (he/him) and Kate (she/her), and their work is rooted in collaboration, experimentation and a distinctly DIY spirit.
Mumbles have built a strong reputation on the UK underground through releases and performances that capture their raw live energy and intellectual edge. Their debut album In the Pocket of Big Sad (2024) recorded on Divine Schism introduced their blend of expressive intensity and indie complexity, and recent EP The Mumbles Book of Hell was released with accompanying zines, reflecting their creative breadth and community ethos. They have also issued live recordings such as Water Flowing Out of the Country: Live to Casette at Cable Street Studios 2k24, showcasing their frenetic, immersive performance style. With dates across the UK and a growing catalogue that defies easy categorisation, Mumbles continue to emerge as one of Manchester’s most compelling contemporary bands.
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
