Morgana is the solo project of Irish singer-songwriter Morgan MacIntyre, a performer with a voice that can stop a room. Born in Belfast and raised for a time in the Donegal Gaeltacht, she first made her name as one half of the acclaimed folk duo Saint Sister, formed with harpist Gemma Doherty. Together they released two celebrated albums, Shape of Silence(2018) and Where I Should End (2021), both nominated for the Choice Music Prize, with the latter named Album of the Year at the Northern Ireland Music Prize. The duo also opened for the likes of Robbie Williams, Keane, Tori Amos, Hozier and The National, and recorded a memorable NPR Tiny Desk Concert.
Going solo, Morgana swaps atmospheric folk for kaleidoscopic, tearful disco-pop that threads lush arrangements with operatic vocals and genuine theatrical flair. She has toured with CMAT across North America and Europe, opened for Dermot Kennedy and Pillow Queens, and sold out headline shows at Dublin's Button Factory and London's Lexington. Singles such as "I'll Cry When I'm Dead" and "I'm Not Going Anywhere" should delight fans of Kate Bush, Sharon Van Etten and Chappell Roan.
