Moose Blood represent the very finest in emotional rock. Honest, insightful lyrics combined with a great guitar sound are winning them fans in every greater numbers. They fuse American emo with British indie to synthesise a great sound of their own.
The Canterbury band formed in August of 2012 and is comprised of Kyle Todd, Mark Osborne, Glenn Harvey and Eddy Brewerton. In a burst of creativity energy they released the Bukowski Demo (Summer ’12) the very same month.
The band followed this up with the self-release of the Moving House EP in 2013 and then another EP Departures / Moving Blood through the label No Sleep. Capturing the attention of the underground music press, Punktastic.com described the stated that the latter release “successfully captures the essence of youth and free mindedness. The band have previously played on their love of coffee and hanging out, and if anything, their sound conjures up images of relaxation around a kitchen table on a warm afternoon doing just that.
Their first album was entitled I’ll Keep You In Mind, From Time To Time and was released in 2014 through the label No Sleep. A great success for the band which sold really well and saw the chart at #45 in the US Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.
2015 saw the band play the entiriy of the ever popular Vans Warped Tour.
Their second album Blush is set for a release in August of this year through the label Hopeless. It will feature new song Honey, which was played in the Radio 1 Rock Show as the Rockest Record.
