Mickey Callisto, born in Sunderland and now based in Liverpool, is a queer pop artist whose music champions self-empowerment, joy and unity. Drawing inspiration from glam-ballads, disco-pop and queer club culture, his songs like “Destructive Love”, “This Is The Real World” and the unapologetically theatrical tracks from Homospace (2022) combine bold vocals with euphoric production. Themes of identity, freedom and embracing difference sit at the core of his sound.
On stage, Mickey has performed at UK festivals including Green Man, Latitude, The Great Escape, Dot 2 Dot, Sŵn and Live at Leeds, and shared the road with international acts like Daði Freyr. His live shows are flamboyant, playful and deeply personal, offering escapism, connection and celebration all in one.
