Known for her raspy, smoky vocals and confessional songwriting, Melissa quickly rose to fame, winning her first Grammy in 1992 for "Ain't It Heavy". Her fourth album, Yes I Am (1993), became a commercial and artistic breakthrough, delivering massive hits such as "I'm the Only One" and the Grammy-winning "Come to My Window". With Your Little Secret (1995), Melissa secured her highest charting album, led by the hit "I Want to Come Over".
