Horror and the Effects of Fear - Creative Writing Workshop, Nottingham Central Library, Nottingham - 12th November 2025
frightfully good fun
We were all given hand outs at the beginning of the session. We covered various aspects of the horror genre including:
• The physical effects of fear
• Exploring the monsters of horror fiction
• Haunted objects
• What do you think escalates fear in films and literature?
• Fear provoking locations and settings
• Horror heroes
• The finale
The session was thought provoking and got the creative juices running - just what you need in a good workshop
