Maxi Priest was amazing , effortless vocals, the atmosphere in the club was very good. pity it was a Monday as i would have loved to have partyed late into the night . overall was a great gig would be very happy to come back to the Jazz Cafe again. even though it was a six hour drive.

Maxi Priest is a reggae-fusion artist from England. He had massive success throughout the early and mid 1990's, and is probably best known for his 1990 single "Close to You", a number that ruled the airwaves throughout the summer and fall of 1990 which topped the US Billboard charts and broke the top 10 charts in Canada, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, New Zealand and the Netherlands.
