Masta Ace, a pivotal figure in hip-hop since the late ‘80s, first made waves as part of the Juice Crew before delivering classic solo albums like Disposable Arts and A Long Hot Summer. Marco Polo, known for his hard-hitting beats and raw, sample-driven style, has worked with hip-hop heavyweights such as Pharoahe Monch, Torae, and Talib Kweli.
Their joint album, A Breukelen Story (2018), is a tribute to Ace’s Brooklyn roots, blending nostalgic lyricism with Marco Polo’s gritty, golden-era-inspired production.
