Marlon Williams is a singer–songwriter and guitarist from Lyttelton, New Zealand, whose music gracefully weaves together elements of folk, country, soul and indie rock. Born into a creative family and raised in Christchurch, he developed a keen ear for melody and storytelling early on. He first made waves with his band The Unfaithful Ways, before stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist backed by his band the Yarra Benders.
His album, Marlon Williams (2015), announced him as a striking new voice, blending traditional country-inflected songwriting with a modern sensibility. Make Way for Love (2018) marked a shift into deeper emotional territory, while My Boy (2022) embraced a more playful musical palette. In 2025 he released Te Whare Tīwekaweka, his first album sung entirely in te reo Māori — a bold, personal exploration of heritage and language.
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
