Additional information

Marcus Trummer's first ever UK show

Marcus Trummer · The Old Brewery Store, Faversham · Friday 21st May 2027

Canada's 2026 Male Blues Vocalist of the Year crosses the Atlantic for his first ever UK show, making this a genuinely historic night for live blues in Faversham. The Calgary-born singer, songwriter and guitarist is one of the most exciting young voices in blues, soul and rock to emerge in years.

Why the blues world is talking about him

• Male Blues Vocalist of the Year, Canadian Blues Music Awards 2026

• Blues Artist of the Year nominee, Western Canadian Music Awards 2025

• Winner of the Telluride Blues Challenge 2023, then a US festival debut at Telluride Blues & Brews 2024

• European debut at Moulin Blues Festival, Netherlands, in May 2026, to an overwhelming response

• Debut album From The Start (2024): ten songs of blues, soul, R&B and rock

With his amp turned up loud and his heart on his sleeve, Trummer pushes beyond traditional genres while honouring the giants who came before him. His live show is raw, magnetic and has to be seen to be believed.
