About Man & The Echo

Warrington new wave band Man & The Echo fuse psychedelic influences with elements of glam and the punch of post punk to create a hard and exciting sound that has been capturing the attention of both critics and an ever growing audience.

The band unites North West lads Gaz Roberts (vocals and guitar), Joe Forshaw (bass), Joey Bennett and Chris Gallagher.

The blast of 2017 with an extensive early headline tour which takes them to The Deaf Institute at Manchester and Norwich OPEN in February, and then The Moth Club in London, Sunflower Lounge at Birmingham, Louisiana at Bristol and Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff during March.

The band signed to infamous A&R man James Endeacott’s label 1965 towards the end of 2014 after being blown away by their performances. Under 1965 they quickly recorded and released the single Honeysucker, which was produced by Jan “Stan” Kybert �" best known for his work with Paul Weller. This was followed by second single All Right.

They have been enjoying steady support from Billy Bragg who selected them to play upon his Leftfield Stage at Glastonbury plus been pushed by Steve Lamacq who described Gaz as “a great northern storyteller”.
