Raised in Steyning, West Sussex, Peters began writing songs as a teenager and gained early attention by sharing music online. Her breakout came with a string of independently released singles that showcased her diaristic style and knack for capturing the highs and heartbreaks of young adulthood. In 2021, she released her debut album, You Signed Up for This, which debuted in the UK Top 10 and established her as one of Britain’s most promising new pop voices.
