When putting together plans for our first Maiden Voyage Festival, we thought a lot about what makes us stand apart. In an increasingly overcrowded festival market we felt it was time for something different.
With one stage of music, an intimate capacity, a music program with emphasis on up and coming artists and a low ticket price; Maiden Voyage stands as an alternative to a London festival scene dominated by large scale events, recycled international headliners and high ticket prices…
Seeing 7,000 music lovers descend upon Three Mills Island, creating such a unique atmosphere for our sold-out inaugural year, was testament that Maiden Voyage is something London needs. It’s this community that we want to build from for our second edition in 2020.
With that in mind, our first allocation of tickets are now on sale, starting at just £10 for a limited time.
So head on down to east London on August bank holiday Sunday 2020 for a trip through the extensive sounds of hip-hop, jazz, afrobeat, house and funk, on a beautiful island hidden in the city.
