If you'd like to be the first to know when new events are announced, you can follow Maddox Batson below.
Maddox Batson (born 13 December 2009 in Hermitage, Tennessee) is a young American singer and songwriter whose meteoric rise began in the digital age. After being diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease and sidelined from sports, he turned to music, performing acoustic covers with his father and posting clips on TikTok — one cover of “Dancing in the Sky” by Sam Barber reached over a million views and helped kick-start his career. His debut single “Tears in the River” launched in early 2024 and entered Spotify’s US Viral 50 chart, accumulating around twelve million global streams by the end of that year.
Signed to Warner Records in partnership with Prosper Entertainment, Maddox continued his ascent with tracks like “X’s”, “I Don’t Like You Anymore” and “Girl in Green”. In March 2025 he released his debut EP First Dance, followed by First Dance (The After Party) in May. He made his debut on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry on 26 March 2025 and is slated to open for Lainey Wilson’s Whirlwind World Tour later in the year. Maddox’s sound mixes country storytelling with pop hooks and a youthful, unabashed energy — a fresh face with a foot in both tradition and TikTok-era fandom.
