About Lord Finesse

Lord Finesse is a legendary MC, producer and DJ hailing from the Bronx, New York, best known as a founding member of the Diggin' in the Crates Crew (D.I.T.C.). Bursting onto the scene in the early ’90s with his debut album Funky Technician (1990), his witty punchlines and smooth delivery quickly set him apart. Follow-up album The Awakening (1996) further solidified his reputation, featuring collaborations with Big L, KRS-One and O.C. Beyond the mic, Lord Finesse has produced for artists such as The Notorious B.I.G. and Dr. Dre, establishing himself as a heavyweight behind the boards.

UK audiences have long embraced Lord Finesse's classic boom bap sound.
