Seven piece Derbyshire ska heroes Lightyear have risen the ranks to become the favourite band of many. Mixing hilarious onstage antics with killer tracks, their live performances must never be missed.

The ska sensations have enjoyed over twenty years of delectable anarchic craziness with an unmissable tour. Join Lightyear for their tour which takes them to The Flapper at Birmingham in April, then The Hairy Dog at Derby and New Cross Inn in London during July 2018.

First formed in 1997, Lightyear have released the two awesome albums Call of the Weasel Clan and Chris Gentlemens Hairdresser and Railway Book Shop.

Band members include drummer Jim Harrison, guitarists Neil ‘Nelb’ Cowie and Neil Draycott, wind instruments from Ben Ashton, Mark Wood and Kraig Winterbottom, singer Chas Palmer-Williams with Richard ‘Bars’ Barling on bass.
