Let's Rock The Moor!, Marsh Meadow, Cookham - 20th May 2017
This is an excellent 80s concert. Always a quality line up and very well organised. Family friendly. We had an excellent day.

Had a great day at Rock the Moor, loved the acts and the way the event was run. Toilets were for once many and well stocked, was so pleased I didn't pay extra for the Posh Loos. Fab selection of food and drink stalls too. Literally the only thing that let us down was the weather. Would definitely go again with that calibre of music.

I had a great time with some great friends dancing, singing and reminiscing to some fabulous beats and artists. All artists and bands were epic and sounded every bit as good today as they used to sound. A great venue that was not too crowded and even the toilets were kept clean, well stocked with paper and hand sanitiser until the very end.

Bit too many tents there otherwise it would have been a 5 rating. They stop you getting to the stage easy, were hard to get past in dark on way out and a bit of a nuisance really. I think people need to stop at chairs and picnic rugs.
Also, Howard Jones was a bit of a let down on the 'What is Love' track with his mic. Could someone have got a new battery for him quicker?
And the toilet paper ran out.
Besides that, top day out with great food tents, beer tent, bands and the weather could have been a whole heap worse.

Apart from the occasional microphone and sound issues (which affected the compere Dave Benson Phillips and Howard Jones in particular), the urinals closing early, the absence of 'The Flock of Seagulls' act (plane travel issues from what I was informed), and the underwhelming weather, it was a very good day all round. It was organised fairly well, and the headliner OMD were absolutely brilliant. Other great highlights on the day were Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Go West, Howard Jones, The Beat, Sister Sledge and of course OMD. The act From The Beat were OK, although I'm not a Tiffany and Technotronic fan - both of whom were among the early acts in the day. The experience would be enhanced with really good weather - the cold, showery feel on Saturday caused the grounds to be rather muddy! Some of the quality of the food from one of the noodle bars was too expensive and slightly underwhelming. Otherwise, quite a good day all round considering that it was my second visit to Let's Rock The Moor - my first visit was in 2014.
