Let's Rock Norwich!, Earlham Park, Norwich - 24th June 2017
We really enjoyed our experience at Let's Rock Norwich. It was a good range of bands/acts and the timings worked out well as there were breaks inbetween to get refreshments etc. There was an excellent selection of food available (albeit at festival prices) and I thought it was a really good idea to provide the free water, although sadly with just one tap, the queues were pretty impressive. Talking of queues, the large amount of toilets available meant that we rarely had to queue - which was very pleasing. I thought it was all well organised and there was plenty of room.
My only criticism would be that the map we got on our lanyard (and don't get me started on paying for the line up listings) was totally inaccurate. The shape of the grounds did not match what was on the card. We managed to work out where we were going (it wasn't rocket science once we'd been for a walk) but it seemed such a silly mistake.
I was also disappointed with the merchandise on offer, it would have been fun to have some more 80s themed items. But maybe that was just because we came woefully unprepared compared to some of the amazing costumes we saw.

With near perfect weather, just a little light rain. I joined 15000 fans enjoying some great performers in Norwich's Earlham Park. The gentle slope of the land afforded great views of the stage to all, plus I (and everyone), could still hear the performers, when I to leave the viewing area for food or the toilet block.
The whole event was brilliantly organized from my arrival on the park and ride bus, to ride back to the car park. I'm already looking forward to buying a ticket for next year's event.
There were so many unforgettable performances, Belinda Carlisle, Bonny M. Midge Ure what an incredible performance. However I had been waiting such a long time to see Tony Hadley, he did not disappoint. Being the headline performer, Tony came on as the sky was darkening, opening with Chant No1, Tony immediately had the whole crowd with him. His voice is just brilliant, Through the barricades, had the whole audience in reverent silence, later we were all singing along with TRUE, as Tony sang, "I bought a ticket to the word" and we all replied with "but now I come back again"... All too soon we were at the last song Gold. Which sums up the whole day GOLD, 15000 Happy people enjoying some great performers who have over the years become friends, I also made some new friends at the event. I loved this event, it gives me a natural high just remembering it....

What a great day - excellent atmosphere, brilliant line-up and a set list that gave everything you needed.
Can't wait for next year.

Really enjoyable day with some superb acts - too many to list them all, but everyone bar Howard Jones!
Generally the day was well-managed, the only issue was the one exit and the bottleneck this created - definitely needs to be re-visited for next year.
However, will certainly look at coming in 2018.
